Inside of a Russian orthodox church and the museum of the political exile at the village of Cherkekh somewhere on the way in between the city of Yakutsk and Khandyga at the Kolyma highway in Yakutia. Yakutsk (Russian: ???????) is a city in the Russian Far East, located about 4° (450 kilometres) south of the Arctic Circle. It is the capital of the Sakha (Yakutia) Republic in Russia with a major port on the Lena River. The city has a population of 264.000 (2009). Yakutsk is one of the coldest cities on Earth.
