Lunik IX in Kosice, Slovakia

The LUNIK IX housing complex - populated with almost 100% Roma inhabitans - in the western-central part of the city of Kosice located in Eastern Slovakia. The living conditions in Lunik IX are partly very bad and many people do not have electricity, water or gas. Some of the buildings are completely devasted. Lunik IX has officially 6542 registered (12/2015) inhabitants and almost all of them are of Roma ethnicity.
