Oskar Schindler (28 April 1908 9 October 1974) was an ethnic German industrialist who saved the lives of more then 1000 jews during the 2nd World War. His story became world famous when Steven Spielberg filmed Schindlers story in the movie Schindler's List (Schindler's Ark).
