Rankovce: “From Shack into a 3E House”

The entrance to the village of Rankovce. Rankovce is located about 30 km from Kosice and has all together 788 inhabitants. About 80% of them are of Roma ethnicity (629). The overall unemployment rate is about 75%, and estimated about 99% in between the Roma community. The foundation ETP Slovakia has a project in Rankovce setting up micro-loan funds for the local Roma community.
