Pepa (56) grown up in Opava nowadays Czech Republic is a long time resident at the Lunik IX housing complex and was from 1998 for four years the mayor at the local city council at Lunik IX. He is talking about the daily problems the inhabitants have to face. He is now responsible for the water supply in one of the buildings where the water was cut off and inhabitants can get twice a day water from a pipe for one hour. The LUNIK IX housing complex - populated with almost 100% Roma inhabitans - in the western-central part of the city of Kosice located in Eastern Slovakia. The living conditions in Lunik IX are partly very bad and many people do not have electricity, water or gas. Some of the buildings are completely devasted.
