Lunik IX in Kosice, Slovakia

Residents and children queue up for water which is switched off in several highrise buildings at Lunik IX. The water in this building was cut off for all inhabitants because of unpaid bills from the past. People living in that building can get twice a day water from a pipe, for one hour. LUNIK IX is populated with almost 100% Roma inhabitans and in the western-central part of the city of Kosice located in Eastern Slovakia. The living conditions in Lunik IX are partly very bad and many people do not have electricity, water or gas. Some of the buildings are completely devasted.
