Ostrovany

A view to both sides of the wall in Ostrovany - left the Roma settlement, right the area of the villagers. In 2010, the town of Ostrovany received international media attention when the town council built a wall in 2009 dividing private gardens/property and the neighbouring Roma settlement. Mayor Mr. Rehak sees the building as a "fence" and not a wall.
