Konik refugee camp in Montenegro

Ganija Pajazitaj President of the "Crisis Council of the Association of Displaced Roma and Egyptians from Kosovo in Montenegro" in his home made out of two connected containers. Mr. Pajazitaj getting himself ready for the big event of opening the new office of the "Crisis Council" where he will speak to the media and invited guests from politics and NGOs. Ganija Pajazitaj was born 1960 in Istok, Kosovo. He has 8 children which are all living with the family in Konik Camp, since 1999 when they fled the war in Kosovo. After the fire in 2012 , when many inhabitants lost their former housing, they received a container in which they live in since then. Mr. Pajazitaj has the refugee status but does not receive any official help from the state of Montenegro.
