Goalball - team sport designed for blind and visually impaired athletes
Mario Bihari - Mitglied der tschechischen Goalball Nationalmannschaft während dem internationalen Turnier in Budapest. Goalball ist eine Mannschaftssportart für blinde und sehbehinderte Menschen und wurde vom Österreicher Hans Lorenzen und dem deutschen Sepp Reindle für Kriegsinvalide entwickelt und zum ersten Mal 1946 gespielt. Die Bilder entstanden auf zwei internationalen Goalball Turnieren in Budapest und Zagreb 2007.
Mario Bihari - member of the Czech National Goalball Team during the international tournament in Budapest. Goalball is a team sport designed for blind and visually impaired athletes. It was devised by an Austrian, Hanz Lorenzen, and a German, Sepp Reindle, in 1946 in an effort to help in the rehabilitation of visually impaired World War II veterans. The International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA - www.ibsa.es), responsible for fifteen sports for the blind and partially sighted in total, is the governing body for this sport. The images were made during two Goalball tournaments in Budapest and Zahreb 2007.
