Björn was born in Bad Homburg, Germany. 1994 – 1999 Study at The Academy of Performing Arts in Prague/Department of Photography (FAMU), Work for international agencies, newspapers, magazines in the area of Journalism, Reportage and Documentary photography. After having an assistant professorship for photography at Keimyung University in Daegu – South Korea, Björn moved back to Czech Republic where he is working as a freelance photographer and part time teacher of photography.
